The Possessive Case

Como já sabes o "Possessive Case" é bastante diferente do modo como indicamos a posse em Português, no entanto é muito simples.



Em primeiro lugar tens de identificar o "possuidor", seguidamente indicar a posse ( 's ou só ' ) e por fim aquilo que é "possuído".



Eg: The dog of Peter is white. = Peter's dog is white.





Rewrite the sentences using the Possessive case.

1. The car of Mary is black.

2. The sister of Mr and Mrs Stone lives in London.

3. The patients of Doctor Harris cancelled the appointments.

4. The legs of the chair are too short.

5. The toys of the babies are on the floor.

6. The hair of my brother is brown.
